Ellin Anderegg

Ellin Anderegg’s photographic style is diverse and ranges from edgy and cool to strong and sophisticated. The Swiss photographer has always been fascinated by the possibility of capturing irretrievable moments for ever or to create her own worlds through photography. The creative artist from Solothurn received her artistic training at the British Neath Port Talbot College focusing on art and graphics and later was trained as a Media Designer in Switzerland. Following her apprenticeship, Ellin Anderegg initially worked as a graphic designer for a renowned advertising agency in Basle, later for a Lifestyle Magazine, before finally devoting herself exclusively to photography. After various assistance jobs for photographers in Zurich and Paris and after her first national campaign in Switzerland for Metro Boutique, she took the plunge into self-employment and has been working since 2011 in her studio in Oberglatt near Zurich. Whether working on fashion editorials, advertising contracts or campaign shoots – her customers today include renowned clients, such as Bucherer, L’Oréal, La Biosthetique, Edelweiss and Wella. Celebrities, such as Christa Rigozzi, Stress, Melanie Winiger or Stefanie Heinzmann also feel at home in front of her lens and appreciate her calm professionalism. Ellin finds her inspiration during her travels, in art, films and particularly in the pulsating metropolises, which thrill her with their anonymity and creative chaos. No wonder therefore that Paris and New York are her absolute favourite cities, in which she loves to work again and again.
